Prefer my feet firmly placed on the ground, we have crossed through rivers for years, suspension bridges only introduced in the past 10 years for convenience.
Personally I still prefer roughing it in the outdoors!
The goats are so cute, as are the ponies! My favorite of this awesome bunch of captures is the guy fishing though - great composure, and it looks like it could be an ad for outdoor gear. Much enjoyed the walk, Joan - thanks for taking us along!
Fly-fishing is quite popular, some go into the water in boots and special gear in the rivers, others hire boats to hit the sweet spot, ironically I have yet to see anyone land a fish from these waters Traci.
Wow, that's interesting, Joan! And yet they keep trying - too funny! I always thought of fishing as just a good excuse to enjoy hanging out near the water. 😊
Was definitely not like this 20 years ago, we loved the region for hiking, swimming in the river and exploring nature.
Younger generation appear to need to be entertained on-site with all modern amenities, sometimes wonder if they actually get to hike or explore what truly is on offer.

What a wonderful adventure you are having. So many different things to do in one place. You must feel like you are in heaven.
