Octoraro Lake
I didn't do too much walking for this Wednesday Walk post because it is way too cold. I hate cold weather so much. I got out of my vehicle twice to take these photos, and OMG were my hands cold. I was going to leave for Southern California on Monday, but then Sunday night I unexpectedly got a job here in Philly, so I'll be staying a while. Actually I have 2 jobs here. As much as I hate the weather, money is money; and I surely need that.
I tried all afternoon and evening yesterday to post this, but I kept getting error messages every time I tried to upload photos. This is still my Wednesday Walk post, even though it is now Thursday morning. I haven't posted for a while because I've been extremely busy. I'm gonna try to get back on track and post regularly again for now on.
I drove down to Turkey Point Lighthouse on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland on Monday night right before sundown. I wanted to take some golden hour photos of the sunset, but I got there a bit too late, and it was too dark to really take any pictures. Google Maps GPS took me to the wrong place. It turned me down a cul-de-sac to a locked gate and said "you have reached your destination." That was not my destination. I didn't even see the lighthouse from where I parked. I believe I did find the right place, but it's a long walk to it. Hopefully I'll get back down there some day.
The first three photos were taken at Octoraro Creek, which is downstream from the lake, where the rest of the photos were taken. I think the creek is in Chester County, PA; and the lake is in Lancaster County, PA. I could be wrong. I know it's near the county borders. I heard it's a good place to fish. When I first got there, there was a crane in the creek. I scared it off when i walked down to take the photos, and it flew away.
All photos taken by me with my Canon Rebel t6
