🌿My entry for @tattoodjay's #Wednesdaywalk challenge
A few photos I took outside early this morning before I went to work.

Red-spotted Newt

I always enjoyed seeing these as a child and truly still do.
I would collect a few of them and bring them into the house to show my Grandmother. She always marveled over my find before asking me to return them back to where I found them.

Pond Lily
The pond lilies haven't flowered yet but will they soon.

Low bush wild blueberry blossom.
I have both low and high bush blueberries all around the marsh. There is alot of competition for them. I love them but so do the bears, birds and wild turkeys.

What a cool range if beautiful photos on your walk today I am not sure I have ever seen a red newt in person so colorful and what beautiful flowers

The Newt's sure are easy to spot being so bright in color. Lots of wildflowers blooming or starting to..

What beautiful spring pictures! I hope the animals save you some blueberries this year! We have to fight the birds for ours too. Your mystery wildflower is lovely. I don't know what it is either, though.

I have lots of blueberries but the wildlife can sure pick faster than I can. I always get some. I could get more if I can find more time to pick them when there ready.
I've been trying to identify the flower and haven't given up..

Lovely shot of the newt! Good job! That wildflower in the last photo might be a Wild Clematis (Clematis vitalba). I have them in my yard and they're always pretty!

Here is a shot of the Wild Clematis in my yard, for comparison purposes! Actually, your flower might be something different now that I look at the two again. But, both are pretty!
