#wednesdayhouse - Paris is for Lovers (My Love) by Terranova

Back again with another #wednesdayhouse entry to bring you some of my favorite house songs over the years. Today features a track that sticks with me largely because every DJ who plays towns that don't exactly have the greatest house and techno scene needs a handful of tracks that manage to bridge the gap between commercial and underground.

Terranova does a masterful take on Justin Timberlake's My Love for this track. The consistent trobbing acid bass that drives the track is 100 percent underground house, but the instantly reconizeable vocal gives fans who aren't heavy into house music a bit of familiarity to entice them to the dancefloor. It is a rare moment where these two sounds blend and it makes for a classic song that has stayed in my box because of its varied and functional appeal. It is always a great feeling when you can use a song like this to ease people into the underground.
