My heart got broken just a few minutes ago. </3
It wasn't because of a certain person, but because of a Webtoon.

WEBTOONS are South Korean comics or manhwa that are published online. There are various websites to read them, but usually read Webtoons in LINE Webtoons by NAVER.

I have been reading webtoons for around five years now and I really enjoy various stories every time. Aside from anime and manga, I'm also really crazy about webtoons.

One of the Webtoons that I have been reading for the past months ended today. It is entitled,

"MY BOO".

What is MY BOO about?

MY BOO was created by Jeongseo. It is basically about a girl named YURI SO who happens to be gifted with the 6th sense. She can see ghosts ever since she was a child. It was really disturbing at first, but she has gotten used to it as time passed by.

In this webtoon, ghosts usually stay in the exact place where they died. They can't touch nor talk to people. They couldn't even possess them. They just stay in that place alone while looking at the people passing by day by day.

One time, she befriended a girl ghost. She was supposed to just neglect them, but she felt pity for her. It was their secret. They made a deal that Yuri will visit her whenever class ends but the ghost shouldn't demand her of anything else. However, a conflict happened which made Yuri promised to herself that NEVER will she interact with a ghost again.

Yuri's Broken Promise to Herself

Unfortunately, that promise to herself was broken when she moved to an apartment to live by herself. And guess what? YES, there was a ghost there. His name is JUN KO. He died in that apartment 3 years back.

Due to some reasons, they were able to interact, get close to each other and gradually fell in love.

Forbidden and Tragic Love

YES! These are the theme of love stories that I like. I'm not into the fluffy and cutesy kind of stories. (well, there are some exceptions... xD)

Now going back...

MY BOO is forbidden. Obviously, it's not a normal kind of relationship. A human and a ghost falling in love with each other. Upon reading this webtoon, I get frustrated most of the time. When you love someone, you also want to have and feel their affection. You'd want to hug and kiss them, too. Say, it's a physical need. lol.. xD However, they couldn't touch each other... huhuhuhu~~~ They kissed... but it's just YURI kissing the air.. but.. huhuhu T_T

It's TRAGIC... not because they couldn't have any physical contact, but because of a really BIG effin' reason... xD

YES!!! They were about to lose each other for good. DESTINY knows how to play its game... T_T

How Was The ENDING? (SPOILER ALERT)

Lovely!!! The ending was lovely for someone like me who loves tragic endings.. As expected. I mean, I was expecting it to be heartbreaking, but the ending was like HOTARUBI NO MORI E all over again. It's like, The HAPPIEST time I spent with you, was also he SADDEST time... Ohh my heart... T_T

Waaaaaaaaaaaa~!!!!! Can I cry again?? hahaha xDD huhuhu... This is making me crazy... xD Anyway, overall, I love the story. I love how frustrating it is. I love the character's development... etc... If I am to rate it from 1 to 5 with 5 being the highest, I'd give it 4.8. ^^

The author was really good at breaking the readers hearts... I love you Author!!! ^^


I'm reading a lot of other webtoons now, so perhaps, in the future you'd see me ranting and spoiling you again. lol.. sorry in advance ^^
