Anyway, this is the part in the aforementioned D&D game where things went beyond silly, with the party's warlock pretty much doing what was shown here to one of the ambushing party. It's funny how little it takes for a group of adults (mostly in their 30's or older) to have their collective mindset devolve to the level of 12-year-olds. What can I say... if you can't act like a kid once in a while, you might as well just lay down in your burial plot and wait for the end. 😁

Admittedly I was only thinking more about the positive aspects of unleashing one's inner child (being free to have fun without judgement or judging).
But yes there is that dark side as well. I'm still waiting for my strips to be popular enough to have haters and trolls of my very own (one of the hallmarks of success is seeing people try to bring you down). But my recent experiment in getting involved in Twitter? (I am @nerdbynorthwest on Twitter). Good GOD there are just endless legions of trolls and haters, in the Crypto circles and just Twitter in general. A few hours of that and I get the overwhelming urge to procure passage on Elon Musk's first colonization trip for Mars... 🙄
