Nerd By Northwest #40 - "The Final Battle"

This is one of the handful of 'Sunday paper' style of double-length strips I've made. If you wonder why I don't make them more frequently, the primary reason is time. This particular webcomic I believe has the honor of taking the most time to finish of all my strips thus far. Not just due to the extra content, but creating action scenes with creatures like vortigaunts and headcrab zombies that I have no prior experience with drawing made this a tougher-than-usual strip. But overall I'm pretty happy with the result.
As for the last panel, the headcrab's comment is just the sort of thing that gets you hit by a pillow, even when said as a joke. Don't ask me how I know... 😊
