'Web3, Blockchain, cryptocurrency: a threat or an opportunity?'

I was watching this TEDx talk when I first heard about steemit, Shermin puts across some very valid points regarding the potential of blockchain technology for better or worse. It is up to us to make sure that this new technological is governed to only be used with the best of intentions, to create a world of freedom and not one of control. Creating a system for healing nature rather than contributing to its destruction. This technology is neither inherently good or bad as it is just a tool and it depends on how we use it that matters.

The fact is, that this train is leaving the station.. so we'd better get onboard to make sure we steer this new economic system towards the healing of nature, the very foundation of our existence as physical beings on this earth.
Together we can make a huge difference!
