The first-ever and recently held YGG Web3 Games Summit had an incredible turnout! It was organized by Yield Guild Games, the world’s first and biggest web3 gaming guild, and held from November 18-25 at Bonifacio Global City, Philippines.

The event gathered almost a hundred local and international speakers, composed of developers, content creators, venture capitalists, and officials from the government.

The summit was described as “the Web3 games event to watch out for,” by the YGG Pilipinas Country Lead Mench Dizon.

Sky Mavis co-founder Jeffrey Zirlin took the stage to announce the comeback of Axie Classic. He also acknowledged the important role of Filipinos in the success of Axie Infinity and emphasized that the Philippines remains the beating heart of Web3 gaming.

The announcement gained a lot of attention and excitement as there's a new feature called 'Cursed Coliseum'. On December 1, YGG Alerts on Facebook announced that Axie Classic is back at 100k weekly active users, more than a week after the new update was released.

Not only that, the event was an opportunity for developers to launch their games and let attendees test new Web3 games. Some of the games at the Web3 Games Summit were Ragnarok Online, PROJECT XENO, Parallel, Star Atlas, Nine Chronicles M, MetaCene and many more.
