A Rainy Day
Electricity was interrupted and it has now been restored, thankfully. I was able to switch on the TV to watch the BBC News only to hear about the horrible fires in Greece, the heat wave in Japan and flash floods in many parts of the world.
Our own state is reeling under excessive rainfall. If the water rises above 12 feet, the dam shutter will be opened.
I only hope that people stay safe and that no more disasters occur.
charge the mobile and portable gadgets
keep a packet of ready to eat foods such as biscuits and other snacks, just in case there are floods
keep dry clothes in plastic wraps or covers
keep emergency lamps handy
have a plan B in case you have to vacate the house
Eat hot foods and avoid street food.
