You have to prepare mentally of what is coming or could come your way and loves one. It is good to listen to the radio or watch TV, weather channel before leaving your house. STAY INFORMED.
Know the season in your area for bad weather.
Make sure your home is safe for any situations.
Get your hurricane kit in order way before if possible.

I am not in Texas but I am in South Florida. I have been though hurricane before. Not fun at all. Hope Texans take care of themselves and prepare.
I'm afraid for you. I wonder why there is so much hurricane in your home and never in Europe. Good courage and pay attention to you.
It got to do with where we are located. The area with hurricane tends to be hot,most of the time. No one can get use with this kind of disaster but we tend to prepare diligently.
