Major Hail Storm Today Did Some Damage
We have had a lot of hail this year in Colorado. Luckily we have missed the most severe hail except for my car getting hit slightly a month ago. This afternoon we were not so lucky. The family and I were driving when I saw a storm coming. It looked pretty far away but was moving fast. All of the sudden; boom! Our windshield broke. Barely any rain, no other hail until that first stone hit us. We drove under a bank drive through line and were protected for the rest of the storm, but the golf ball size hail did some damage.
The hail I am holding had been melting for a while and was not nearly as big as when it fell.
We had a similar storm here in Toronto a few days back, golf ball sized hail!
Sorry to see the damage. That was some dangerous hail.
Off topic. I saw a new series on Netflix where a super car races "sleeper cars". I think it may be called Fast Cars. You should check it out. One example was an Odyssey with over 1,000 HP. This car came in last out of the group still.
