Capturing Simple Beauty - Winter Skies Over Texas
Hello and Happy Holiday Weekend!
A few days ago (21 Dec.) while on the road, I couldn't help but notice how interesting the cloud formations were. I am unsure of the specific cloud-types or names, but if I had to take a guess I think I'd call these alto-cumulus or cirrocumulus. If only the camera could convey the true beauty...
To me this almost looks like a hand making a downward, sweeping gesture towards the viewer.
Strange (man-made?) right angle "cloud" and skyline.
And here is just a really nice shot. See the "waves"? Energy in action, I love it!

It's called: geoengineering, nexrad, norad, solar radiation management, stratospheric aerosol injection, etc.
Nice captures
Yeah, I've heard names for it, but I can't claim any expertise on the subject ;)
I appreciate you stopping by to look!
Nice photos!
Thank you! I love keeping my "eye on the sky"
Clouds are beautiful! And there is so much variety in the sky. It's good to look up for awhile, that's for sure. Have a great holiday!
