How many of you have watched WOWOWEEE , Wil Time,Big Time, Willing Willie Manny Many Prizes, Happy Yipee Yehey and all those sorts of game shows???
*These are popular game shows in the Philippines that gives away cash prizes
Do you know someone to won a 6/42 (or whatever combination it is, not sure hahaha!!!!) Lottery???
Or do you have a friend who won a house and lot? with free appliance and “**kabuhayan” showcase and everything??
**Kabuhayan means livelihood, generally materials or resources to start a small business
YOU WILL NOTICE THAT MOST OF THEM GOT THESE THINGS INSTANTLY
SO DOES THE TERM “RAG TO RICHES” AS THEY CALL IT

But sad to say a majority of them didn’t changed a bit after winning those things…
I noticed that we seldom get in touch of these individuals at least a year after they got their “JACKPOT PRIZE”
Some might say, “Oh well probably they are living the life that they want, they are living their dreams!
But the truth is they are back on where they started… Some after a year or two, some after 6 or let say 3 months…..
Well for me i think it’s the reason why the media sometimes does not want to cover these because it will put a bad light on the “JACKPOT THING” as a whole. Some people might say, these game shows and contests make people’s lives worse than ever before.
Actually this is not the point…
Come to think of it…. WHAT’S WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE???
THEY HAVE THE MONEY, THEY HAVE THE HOUSE, THEY HAVE THE PRIZES….
BUT NOW????? THEY ARE ALL GONE…..
LIKE THERE’S NOTHING THERE!Now comes the question?? “What went wrong?”If you will look carefully, these people became rich instantly….
They didn’t worked hard for it,
They didn’t exerted on it,
They didn’t strive or even dreamed of it!WHY? Because it’s part of the GAME!
Most of the winning contestants will say “I never imagined I was this lucky!”
But being wealthy is not reliant on luck
Because it’s a mindset!
People who got instant wealth is not prepared enough to this so much wealth/money/prizes that they have….
They couldn’t believe themselves
It’s as if they are swimming in an ocean of RICHES (wow that’s a good one!)
Being “not used” on their way of life…. They will do the common mistake…..

Because of the traditions, teachings that was handed down to us (see previous post: is getting rich evil?)
we are accustomed to the fact that being poor is the right way to live….
but God didn’t want us to live that way

…Remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth.
So in order to become truly rich or should I say wealthy, change your mindset, expand your boundaries and embrace the wealth that God has given to us…..LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL MY FRIEND
