This theme has been carefully selected to promote a responsible environmental behaviour, through dissemination of information to the public as pertaining issues of immediate relevance to the environment and human co-existence. Plastic pollution have topped the headlines of environmental news recently, owning to our indiscriminate waste disposal on drainages, streams, oceans, seas and other water bodies, including the land where we live. Aquatic life have been in dangêr since the tonnes of plastics in the sea have increased, posing drastic effect on the ecosystem and ecological succession. A large percent of this plastics in ocean are from food and beverage packages such as drinks and other forms of plastics. Our earth is losing a lot of fishes which is the major source of protein to our meals, the implication is beyond our capacity to cope if nothing is done to curtail plastic pollution. The question is where do u dump your waste plastic after use? On the street, gutters, drainage channels or large water bodies. Either of this answer is wrong...
