So it has been two years since this piece was written. BitShares has definitely stumbled. I now see 7,538 address with some Litecoin, 1,584 accounts with more than 0.1LTC. That is a growth of only a few from the 1427 in the article. So in 1.5 years there were 2,869 new LTC accounts (5 accounts a day.) Total account names are 78,894. Over the last few days there were 16, 10, 20, 18, 49 and 40 accounts registered. or about 20 a day or the last 19 days. (Let's just call that one new account every hour...)
It should be notes Waves is worth 1.3 billion in market capitalization. Each waves token goes for 12.75. If one assumes there are 78,000 accounts with names, each account is worth like $16,477. Nope not worth that.
