Are any Waves Platform tokens valuable?

I followed along with a @scatmandingo post (https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@scatmandingo/how-to-become-an-accredited-investor-if-you-have-no-money) and issued my first Waves Platform token:

Now what? How are such tokens used today? I see the 2018 roadmap (https://www.reddit.com/r/Wavesplatform/comments/7jlnu2/the_waves_2018_roadmap_from_todays_presentation/) lists "Touring complete smart contracts" in Q4. Are we all just waiting until then?

yes, some... take for example mercury token, they achieved to get listed also on bittrex
then there are tokens like wct where the waves team drops airdrops to
