I'm glad you and the little one is OK..
These things happen often, it is vital to have a smoke detector in your home, especially if you have a little one..

It's unfortunate some people (including myself) sometimes just don't learn / take safety measurements until something bad happens.
We're lucky it didn't end up worse and will definitely think about safety more.
