When will the Platypus wars begin? It already has!

I have been mentioning the upcoming Platypus Wars a few times here on Steemit, and today I will mention them once again. Yesterday, I read about Vector Finance, a project built by the developers of MagnetDAO, and now they are creating a platform that will let people get boosted rewards for their stablecoin deposits.

Maybe you have heard of platforms such as Nexo that gives you an APR between 6% and 12% on your stablecoin deposits to the platform? Well, that is awesome, especially compared to what you would get from a normal bank. But, if someone would tell you that you can get 20% APR on your stablecoin deposit, or maybe even higher, what would you say? You would most likely say yes, thank you, and then move your stablecoins from Nexo to the new platform (if you trust it).

And that is where the Platypus enters the battlefield, because at PLatypus Finance, you can receive gigantic APR for your stablecoin deposit, if you own a lot of PTP tokens as well. So, now all sorts of platforms try to acquire lots of PTP tokens in order to get a very high boosted APR for stablecoins deposited to Platypus Finance. This has lead to a steady price increase for PTP in the last couple of days, and we already know that there are three platforms already joining the battle; Vector Finance, Echidna Finance, and Yield Yak.
