The UN is the biggest (and most corrupt) scam ever perpetrated on the world. In 1945 Vietnam ( French-Indochina) belonged to France which gave them permission to put down any uprisings. Ho Chi Minh was the beneficiary of half the weaponry left over from the invasion of Japan- which was unnecessary after the A-Bombs. It gave Ho the weapons he needed to overthrow the French.
