War Shocks Our Planet Grey
There's something poetic in this photo. During wartimes, the world goes gray. (Or is it grey?) Just look - check photos of Ukraine, Lebanon, Gaza, Iran - at how a street with beautiful buildings and trees suddenly looks gray after it was struck by a missile. It's as if humanity's cruelty shocked it. Let's not focus on the technicalities here, like dust and stuff.
I found the image on the HIVE blockchain, wanted to comment while on PeakD, only to read I am out of resource credits. WTF. I've only done two other comments before that, after being on there - Ecency first, then PeakD - for the first time in a year. Why? Because Substack, Blogger, and the many other traditional blogging platforms where I also have blogs, kicks HIVE's ass.
So over to SteemIt I came, first time in a year too, just to check if it's slightly better here. The UI now looks dated, but the site and blockchain itself seems still better than HIVE. And I hate saying it, because the principles of decentralization and freedom of speech HIVE promotes are close to my little dark black heart, and SteemIt relinquished some of it, from what I've read.
I'm just doing this quick post as test, to see how easy it is to blog here compared to at Ecency, BTW. So far so good.
On another note, I'm thinking of putting up a blogging platform that's better than any of the platforms I mentioned in this post. If you're interested, or have suggestions or advice, drop it in the comments.
