'Last Request' Veteran PD II: Dancing with a Beautiful Woman

Mississippi - A World War II veteran, Paul Sonnier, has long been lying weak in bed. He has a 'last request', ie dancing with a beautiful woman.

Quoted from Fox News, Wednesday (25/04/2018), Sonnier desire is realized by the student association of Mississippi.

Sonnier became a guest at a party held by the Society of Phi Mu students from the University of Southern Mississippi, Hattiesburg. The party was held on Monday (23/4) then.

"He always asks if I want to go to Ropers, a local bar," said a member of the association, Jessica Moreau.

"He said, 'I will teach you how to play jitterbug and waltz'," he added.

Jitterbug is a popular dance in the US in the 20th century ago. While waltz is one type of famous ballroom dance.

"It feels good to be with all these beautiful women," Sonnier told WDAM TV.

Association members also said Sonnier was a war veteran when Pearl Harbor was attacked.

"My dad loves young people appreciate everything he does and sacrifices, so they can sit here and have fun and have the freedom they have," Sonnier's daughter Ida said.
