Putin Vs Trump : On earth, and in SPACE 🌎🌌
The US has been actively deploying its air-defence systems around the globe over the years, including on Russia’s doorstep, in the Baltic states, and Japan. The US has already surrounded Russia with its air-defence systems, from the east to the west. However, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said they were well-protected.
The top diplomat also said the country shouldn’t worry “no matter what happens in the world,” as its security is ensured. He was citing Russian President Vladimir Putin and new developments in the Russian Army.(RT news)
Lavrov also addressed Washington’s seeming unwillingness to cooperate with the rest of the world in space exploration. The US has already started looking at space militarization. In June, US President Donald Trump ordered the establishment of a Space Force as the sixth branch of the US military, saying that “American dominance in space” should begin. Last week, the US House of Representatives approved the $716 billion National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for next year which, among other provisions, requires the Pentagon to develop a “space warfighting policy” by the end of March 2019. It seems like Russia is against US both on earth and in space, and while on Earth the 2 are quite balances, in space it is still a new territory to be won. Whoever wins the space race, will win the top seat for the 21st century, and right now, it seems like US has the most influence, power and progress in space.
It will be interesting to see how this new age of "space-era" dawns, as human civilisation become advanced enough to look outward of Earth.
