REVELATION 8:1, A DAY EQUALS A YEAR, AND WAR

"And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.” (Revelation 8:1)

"But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day." (2 Peter 3:8)

1 day can be literal or per the Bible it can equal 1,000 years. 1/48th of a day is 30 minutes but it also equals 7,609 days or 20.83 years.

If you consider when World War I ended - November 11, 1918 and when World War II started - September 1, 1939 and count the days between you arrive at 7,599 days which is only 10 days shy of 1/48th of a 1,000 years or about 30 minutes with God and does qualify as "about the space of half an hour."

I am not saying Revelation 8:1 means exactly that above. Keep in mind that between those two dates the world was not at peace. Nor am I attempting to frame Revelation 8:1 as an eschatological event which has already occurred. I am not.
