Because The US is the world police. We protect the sea lanes.
The US dollar is the reserve currency of the world. We spend more on military than the next 10 countries combined.
You just don't go against that without serious repercussions.

And, The US doesn't really make anything to boycott. The things that it does make are things that you can't get any where else.
