MyEtherWallet is now available for iOS

The wallet of Ethereum MEW made an announcement yesterday 18 September in which to indicate the release of a version for iOS devices called NEWconnect.

You can now download it from the Apple Store but Android customers will have to wait approximately one more month to try the beta version.

Customers will be able to store their cryptocurrencies through the application, and sometimes MEWconnect plays the role of a hardware wallet.

The Hardware Wallet service is similar to that of Ledger and Trezor but the difference is that MEWconnect is free and open source, users will not have a private key to access the Wallet, QR code scanning will be used.

The Hardware Wallet are not connected to the internet, they store the necessary private keys to be able to carry out transactions with our cryptonondas, the use is very simple. The beta version of the application was launched at the end of July of this year in order to improve MEW client security measures.
