MoneyTap an app for the clients of SBI Holdings and Ripple is focused on transfer based on blockchain and is a product of SBI Ripple Asia and several banks.

The interbank transfer service in real time is thanks to xCurrent one of the Ripple payment solutions, the product is already available for the Android and iOS platform, and will allow you to send money using a QR code or your phone number, and then uses biometric information such as scanning the fingerprint for greater security.

At the moment only money can be sent between three participating Japanese banks, Resona Bank, Suruga Bank and SBI Sumishin Net Bank, the payments will not have additional charges and may be sent in Japanese yen or other foreign fiduciary currencies.
