Bittrex, my $100+ cannot be withdrawn! Support is next to impossible!
I wonder that maybe with this wallet disable issue, it is in the steemit side! Why and is the reason for this issue!
It is hard to in or out from steem blockchain! Bittrex is by miracle only my money there stuck! Hitbtc face the same issue with wallet! Why we encounter with this problem?

hitbtc issue has not been resolve,
poloniex migth resolve the issue, but i never tried to send steem/sbd there, I will not risk my sbd there
I've completely given up on Polo since the last fiasco around the time of the HF when they disabled the wallet for a long time. Had my SBD stuck there for ages. Thankfully it was still there after a month.

Ah i missed the bittrex part. That's terrible. Every time the price spikes, something like this happens!
All exchanges are required to do security audit when coin price goes up dramatically... The question is how long it can take, EU mandates 48 hours maximum, but other territories might have longer maximum limits.
I don't know the reason either. I hope this issues on the exchanges will be fixed.
Steemit is still beta so some of the issues might be actually caused by bugs in Steemit codebase, but some of the issues are caused by exchange staff and issues with their code. I can check how much assets each exchange hold and compare it to total amount of Steem and SBD held inside the exchange... Usually the combined net amount should be positive, otherwise the exchange is in big trouble if people want to withdraw their coins.
Rumours say there is a cartel to manipulate prices of Steem and Steem Dollar... When the price goes up, they don't actually have the funds to back up the trades, so they are forced to disable withdrawals. It's easy to test that deposits actually work even though exchanges claim they are disabled.... They need people to deposit coins, or else they can never re-enable withdrawals. People have reported at least HitBTC to authorities, so the cartel could be broken.

I have been around only since mid-October but I have heard that Steemit has frozen accounts of some of the exchanges due to reasons unmentioned... I know we shouldn't believe in rumours, but until there is official announcement, we can only speculate the worst case scenario.

Coz even the core steemit, didn't know why sbd spike that high value, and it is not pumping, and with 3.6 million only, it could go more than $10 each
The error code HitBTC gives means their server pool is overloaded... Their transactions currently lag about a day... When SBTC tokens get credited, we know the system is starting to recover.
