Walk With Me Along The Mars River

Yesterday we decided to change it up a little bit and head out to a park and walk some of the trails along the Mars River. Normally, I wouldn't do this because I don't really agree with paying money to enter a forest that is supposed to belong to the people already, but there are a number of look-offs and walkways that need some maintenance somehow, so I guess the price was okay.

The leaves are all changed colors now and it was a pretty nice walk along the river - especially past the main waterfall when the noise of the river calmed down.

As you can see, the boardwalks are very well kept. I wouldn't mind walking along the shoreline, but it sure made it easier for @landonator to make his way along.

All in all, it was a great hike. The weather is starting to get cool now for sure. Another few weeks and we'll be getting snow I bet.

And, it's off to Ontario for me tomorrow for a few weeks to do a course for work. It will be good to get out of this province for a few weeks. The scenery is nice here, but that's about it. Everything else in Quebec is absolute shit. If you're reading this and also live in Quebec, I feel sorry for you. Unless you like it, then there is no saving you.

We'll see what this trip will bring as far as photographs and drawings, though. I'll have my vehicle with me, so I'm sure I can find some nice parks down there as well - and it will probably be warmer than up here.
