It is a sunny morning after another rainy night. The world is buzzing with life and the air smells incredible. A mix of cut grass, fungus and frangipani, mixed with wafts of bitter almond as the soft breeze rustles gently through the trees. The mango trees are heavy with blossom about to burst too which will bring even more heady perfume to the mix any day now.

I stop by to see how a friends latest eco building workshop project is progressing. This week they are building a beautiful outdoor bamboo kitchen.

Just a couple of days ago it looked like this....

There is always a great energy and atmosphere around these projects. Costa Rican's are either on or off. When off they do nothing but lay in hammocks, go surfing and take relaxation to new levels of blissfulness. When they are on, they work hard, very happily and create beautiful things made from love with a perfect knowledge of their surroundings and organic connection to nature and the rainforest on their doorstep.

So many walks end up at the beach but then why wouldnt they? It is so fresh and exhilarating always to hear the waves and feel the sand between your toes.
