Walk With Me In Denver #16

Walk with me in Denver, Little Free Library Edition:

So this is actually a few different walks, because my wifi has been out at the apartment. I've been strolling around distributing my big National Geographic collection to little free libraries, because NGs don't really age out like other magazines (I collected old ones myself for years). I don't want to overload them, though, so I have been putting half a dozen in each LFL.

I put six in the one at the VA hospital first:

Then I dropped off more at the LFL on the main road:

Then on a different walk to the post office, I put six more into the Abbey LFL I showed you in a different walk:

Then I discovered another LFL I didn't know about before, but I didn't have more NGs with me. It's OK, it was pretty full:

Then I went to Petco and bought seventeen little cans of cat food and ONE GIANT CAN (it's a cardboard scratcher in the shape of a tuna can)! I paid $1.02 because I have mad couponing skills.

Then today I went to drop off six more in another known LFL, and on the way there, FOUND ANOTHER LFL, so I dropped them off there instead:

So there are still several LFLs I can drop off in, which is cool because I started with a two foot stack of National Geographics. 😂

And in related news, I got a shiny new virtual race medal! This one was a year long challenge to get out and get in some miles at least 100 days of the year (currently I think I'm at around 130 days or so):

After today's walk, I only have 4.5 miles left on my current virtual race, so there will be a fourth medal on my rack soon. I am so motivated by my shiny medals, lol. 😁
