HOBO STYLE #Walkwithme
Been awhile since I did a @lyndsaybowes ... #walkwithme .
Coming back home from food shopping I decided to take the more rural way back along the Peconic river in Manorville. I stopped along River Rd. and took a path that I thought would take me to the small river.
It only went to the railroad tracks, a short distance away.
Looking west towards NYC
This is the railroad line that terminates out at Orient point. About 40 miles east of here. The trains run few and far between so I thought I would walk along the track Hobo style till I found the river.

I thought I saw a bridge in the distance going West, so off I went.
Sure enough, a hard to see bridge appeared, going over the river.
The bridge didn't seem to be that old. It was in a remote spot where only an occasional hunter or graffiti kid would wander upon.
A couple miles up river is a canoe launching spot where they would have to pass under this bridge.
Water was rushing pretty good through the narrow area of the bridge. River and water table high at this time.
Time to take the walk back "Hobo Style" :-)

Cool trip Brother Mike @manorvillemike ! I saw a vid on how NYC is completely over hauling there subway / train system. It's certainly on its last legs! I forget how many billions of $$$ it's costing. Some people live underground in the tunnels, that can't be pleasurable. Anyway, LQQKs like you prob'lee found a prime fishin' hole!

@manorvillemike Be safe walking down the tracks and listen for that ringing sound that comes from the rails. Its a weird sound but when they are around the corner its an easy way to notice. Hope everything wakes up there in the North for you soon. In the South much of the life is coming out from the winter.

Today was the first warm day. Peepers really chirping today.
Nice, I was talking to someone in NH and he said their last frost day is in June. I guess up north things pop up a little later on.
