I will take you on a walk through a little part of the stunning Champagne Valley in the Central Drakensberg in South Africa.
We made our base at Champagne Sports Resort, and were blessed with stunning views of the Champagne Castle & Cathkin Peak mountain ranges.

Day 2 we decided to visit Falcon Ridge Bird of Prey Centre, a sanctuary for injured Raptors, what an amazing and informative visit that was! The staff are all passionate about rehabilitating these injured raptors. The highlight was an awesome display of avian aerobatics with the birds soaring to great heights only to swoop down when their trainer/carer gives out a sharp whistle and throws titbits up which they grab in midair, their speed is quite amazing!
Day 3 was the day we had all been waiting for. The world famous Drakensberg Boys Choir School is just down the road from the resort and hold concerts every Wednesday afternoon. It was such a privilege hearing them perform here. It is quite an honour to be chosen to attend this school.

Lovely walk with you today. The grass thatched roof is beautiful. This is a really pleasant home away from home for a few days. The concert sounded awesome.

It was beautiful! It is a grass thatch roof, very popular in South Africa, especially all the game reserves and holiday resorts. Thank you for stopping by @snrm :)
