(Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals),
quite unique in that it is situated in a Nature Reserve called Glenholme.
All proceeds go towards the care of abandoned and abused animals.
Many a vintage treasure found here.
I did not go and see the abandoned animals waiting to be adopted as it's just too heartbreaking.
Thanks to the SPCA for their tireless efforts to save the animals.

This is stunning @lizelle. Looks like a very interesting place to visit. Just love how artistic the place looks.
We just love going there @jusipassetti, it has such a happy ambience & so very interesting. They tell a little about the history of the original farm, I was quite amused that the farm was subdivided so that all 11 children could inherit a piece of it & of course the girls got the smaller pieces!

Really beautiful place you took us too @lizelle, and so unique. I'm happy to know that all the proceeds go to helping animals.

Hi @sweetpea, it's a lovely place to visit, the tea garden is open every day, charity shops just on certain days. We actually live in Queensburgh, should consider setting up a Durban/ KZN meetup?
I go often, a take my kiddo and puppy there during the week so that they can play and run around, while I enjoy a cup of tea. I agree, a lovely place! Yes, we should plan a meet-up, my hubby is on Steemit too, and I think @joanstewart is also in Durbs, further South. In actual fact, I have to other friend here in Hillcrest who are on Steemit, so we could already have quite a nice gathering!
That would be great, my friend @artywink who joined recently lives up your way, in Waterfall. Sure joanstewart may be interested as well, perhaps we could meet somewhere central? Perhaps ask on Discord if anyone else is interested? Or do a post on it? I'm still a newbie here :) Nice chatting to you x
