All I know

The "head or the tail?"
Why do some people think it is better to be the head rather than the tail?
Good question.
The head directs the body.
And if the tail seems to be unnecessary. It can be dropped off. Ha
In this case. It was the caboose.
Great location though. Next to the bicycle trail.
Remember the last photo entry I had made on the last post?
IMG_0053.JPG

I had shown this statue once before a few months ago.

So we will just move along without explaining in detail all there is to know. (Now Little Girl. Don't you ask. Ha ha)

Now I can finally know that I will be safe? Don't you know it is the law. lol
IMG_0044 (2).JPG

And this is another look from the walk I had taken before.
This is next to the railroad park.
IMG_0056 (1).JPG

We continue to walk. Stopping to take a look and take some photos along the way. You get to see some of what I see.

IMG_0063 (2).JPG

Some of you may remember this from one of my earlier walks this way?

I see water. But no alligators.
We want to be careful when we are close to alligator habitat.

IMG_0072 (1).JPG

Walking on to see the next interesting look. It could be anything or nothing unusual at all. It is worth the effort though.

IMG_0075 (3).JPG

So sorry. It is at this point I ran out of energy to go on. I had walked about three (3) miles from where I lived.
So I have to walk back. It isn't all that far. But, I stop many times to take a closer look at something that looks interesting to me. It can take a lot of time.
IMG_0078.JPG
IMG_0086 (3).JPG

You can see where I am right at this moment in time.
IMG_0080.JPG

Slowly we are walking back to where we started from.
If we move along at a fast walk. We can miss some interesting views.
IMG_0094.JPG
IMG_0093.JPG

To have a place to live in one of these units would be very nice.
All that is needed for us is within walking distance. Very lovely place.
2018 is the year of decision for some of us. What will we decide?
IMG_0097 (2).JPG
IMG_0098.JPG

This area is not all about tall buildings though. You can see that it has had some planning for the existing residents and future residents.

Wow. It is time to take a break. I think this is more than I have ever added before. I doesn't matter though. I have so much more to show you. It will have to be at another time and post though.

I will look for a song.
I think I will slow down the tempo a little this time.
Sleeping and naps from this point on is permitted. Ha
Let's listen to this one more time.
It is too good not to play again .
And it is so true to me.

That is my work and post for this time. I hope that you found something interesting for the time you spent reading and viewing.
Steemit is waiting. I must not delay any longer.
Thank you

Francis

Sort:

Historically and architecturally this passenger train station is significant.

Here you go for all those who have inquiring minds, (just like me):

http://www.veniceareahistoricalsociety.org/resources/Pictures/Venice%20Train%20Depot%20brochure.pdf

A statue dedicated to a world class animal trainer for Ringling Bros and Barnum and Bailey Circus: Gunter Gebel-Williams.

Little Girl, Litttttlllleee Girl (for emphasis) Ha
Now you have done it. You have aroused the ire and wrath of "the mighty one." lol
How could I have ever guessed that you would do what should and needed to be done???
Answer. Just because I know from past verbal entanglements. Ha

But this time you will hear the roar and see the fire and smoke from Mr. Lectin. Ha
Ready? It is OK to cower off to the side for safety's sake if you want to. Ha ha
(OK. I know there will never be a day like that.)
But, back to the subject.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Madam Queen of Steemit. One of your favorite servants has failed to please Your Highness.
Oh, may that day never come. But, it has and it is here.
Forgive your servant Your Highness. I take a bow.
No, make that a "deep" bow.
I know you are right. You always are. I know you will agree...................
So, please let this day be gone forever from your memory and only good and kind things remain for your lowly servant. That is the best I can hope for now. Thank you so much for your time to at least consider my wish.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Now the question?
Does that help to heal the pain caused by my shortsightedness and failure to fill in as needed?
If not. Please be easy on ole Mr. Lectin. lol
Oh, and the most important part of my post???
Oh, you don't know what the most important part of my posts are?
If you don't. Just ask one of my faithful followers.
Thank you

Francis

I think you may have mis-understood my contribution to your post...you simply can't include absolutely every detail about everything that you show us while on your walks.
The station is a historical landmark and the animal trainer was highly skilled. I thought that both deserved a little recognition for those of us whose minds need to know and now the thread will have this information with a simple click.
Now that you know, I will do my best to bruise you less...Burning Man.
the Devil is in the details...I guess that makes me the Devil.
LOL! ;)

Little Girl
You wrote.
"You may have mis-understood." Ha ha
It is possible that I did.
But actually it went as I had planned. lol
You took the bait.
Bingo. I scored a direct hit. Ha ha

I know that you are neat, clean, and like for everything to be in order.
Just as you do with your post writings.

Since I am not able to do that. And you won't write my posts for me.
So I can have a "Rep 68 and not a lowly 61."
Little Girl. It is lonely and cold down here it the "Rep 61 cellar."

And I thought to myself.
If I can get Little Girl to notice my plight.
Maybe she will gallop up to the rescue unknowingly and help. Ha ha
And you did.
Thank you

Mr. Lectin

Oh, FYI. You know that this last reply I have written above is absolute "BS" don't you? lol
I am going back to listen to the video/song right now.
Maybe I can learn something.

I think you are playing with fire, Burning Man. ;)

That is why my name.
"Burning Man" Ha ha
So sorry.
For myself that is. I am the one that got burned.
Ugh on that.
