A Time At The Beach
Why not say "a day at the beach" Francis?
Because words have meaning. We did spend some time at the beach. But, not the whole day.
For instance. If I tell you "I love you." Would I be saying it to win you over to myself. Or, is it a true feeling from my heart that is totally and completely true?
Just an early day offering of thought to you to think about and ponder for yourself.
The two ladies on the beach. Do I love them? Or would I just be saying that because it is expected of me?
See how that works?
Enough of that. Let's look around and see some of what is to be found around our Venice Florida Beach.
The beach area is more than just sand.
This is posted to let us know what we might see while we are here.
Some more of the vegetation and looking to the Gulf of Mexico.
Some sand, blue sky, and looking back at the bathroom facilities.
The people that like the beach have been situated and resting where they like it.
It was not cold. But, it was cool to me. Katie didn't think so. She had been in near zero temperatures at times.
Now we look to our left down the beach and see the Venice Fishing Pier.
This is the Fins Restaurant at Sharky's on the Pier.
Pigeons are a common site on the beach and at the outside restaurant area.
Some of them were walking around our feet as we were eating. Looking for a drop of food.
I was a little afraid I might step on one. But, they stayed out of the way.
Just two or three were staying around our feet while at the table.
Seagulls are always on the beach area. Looking for a handout. Ha
This is the Sharky's Restaurant and outside tiki bar. Both inside and outside facilities.We chose the outside.
One brave soul was in the water. The water was cool at first as we walked along in the edge.
But, it was soon OK to stay in shallow water. But not waist deep for me. Ha
Looking toward the end of the pier. The storms in the past have nearly destroyed it at different times. But now. It has been designed to resist very strong winds.
If properly constructed. Hurricanes doesn't mean as much.
We were down the beach south of Sharky's. This is looking north back up to Sharky's.
Before I go. I wanted to show you the entrance to the pier. Many walk out on the pier each day and some people like to fish from the pier. Many sharks are caught here and photos are at the bait shop for some of them.
I have much more to show. But, I will let you see what I have seen later. Maybe in the next few days.
A trip to the nearby beach is always relaxing. I was running on the beach some. Getting back into practice of running. Then Katie and I ran a little back to the truck. I had not thought of running for many years. When running with someone else. It is more interesting.
Fair warning on this video. If you don't like girls and especially seeing beach girls.

With Katie here. I can see many more trips to the beach now.
Steemit is our friend. Without Steemit. We see and do nothing.

Ironically you, hubby and Rebecca all wrote a post today that talked about fishing at some point, how cool is that?
I'm really jealous of your weather and area, I know I have told you this before.
We're supposed to get bad weather tomorrow YAY!
I haven't been on here much buddy, work and home has kept me extremely busy! I'm a tired girl!
I do have a couple of things I'm planning on posting as soon as I can put it all together, just finding the time is key.

The time problem for all of us is huge. I don't see how some of you do it.
By the time I take care of some little things and get a post up.
A lot of the day has went by.
But, we know it is worth it. We do not ever leave Steemit.

Wow...It's paradise for all. This is bird paradise, travelers, fishermen etc...Blue sky seem hot summer. Weather now ok for all fun and enjoy. beach ladies stunning with their bikini. How long bridge? Its nice look with your various degrees captures. Omg...Sharks caught there. Is that massive one? I'd like to see. Finally very enjoyable video song indeed. Cool.

Nice beach.
You're killing us with these magnificent photographs of the weather in your area. I absolutely love the beach! There's just something about it that is so relaxing looking out at the horizon and also as the waves come crashing in. Every time I go to the beach I always say that I'm not going to get into the ocean very deep due to all the sharks and reported shark attacks but I can't resist it and I always go out above my head and stare out into the horizon, it's just so peaceful. Although the last trip to the beach it was a little too cold and I took my GoPro camera, a pepper and a silver round out in the ocean with me to do a photoshoot for a contest and I ended up losing the silver round so I'm sure somebody with a metal detector will find that one of these days and be really excited. I was pretty bummed about that. The waters was really rough that day and I had to struggle to get back on the shore because I had my hands full of all those items. The darndest thing is I made it all the way back up to knee deep water and got knocked down by some powerful waves and that's when I actually lost the coin. That's what bothers me the most, is that I was out there in the deep part and made it all the way back to shore and then that's when I actually lost it. I think those waves knocked me down about 3 times lol! I actually have footage of the GoPro scraping along in the sand.
Some of the happenings in our lives bring us some grief. Such as your lost silver coin.
We put a lot of attachment of some of the things that we acquire from time to time.
This is what I have found out over the years though.
What we once thought to not be available at any price. Much later, we can part with so
some of them without the emotional pain of separation.
Many years from now. You will remember the incident, But the sorrow won't be as great.
But, you will always remember. Don't put what we consider to be valuable at risk.
I have learned that lesson over and over. Even with little things.

@francisk, Definitely brilliant blog you this time shared. I most like beaches coz I live in my country very close to beach area. Florida beach is massive beach area. Any travelers really enjoy florida beach. Yep..I really enjoy with these ladies if I have get chance for stay with them. :D Nicely maintain whole area. Good effort.

Oh now I really really wish it was summer. Seeing this beach brings back so many memories! I always go to the beach at least once when it's summer and I always have such a great time :)
