City Creek Gone Dry: #WalkWithMe

At least there are still a few Wild Corndogs growing in a stagnant pool!

Usually this little creek near Hwy 330 runs year round, but I plunged through the thickets despite the arid conditions.

Fall leaves crackling down from tall heights replaced the tinkling sound of water today. Not too many human tracks crisscrossed the ravine, but deer trails and carnivore spoor did.

Towering White Alder trees are already raining down oval leaves amongst the creekbed boulders.
