Wonder Bar
On this past cold and overcast Mother's Day, my wife and I decided to take a drive to Asbury Park to walk the boards and checkout what was going on at the Asbury Park Convention Center.
On the way back we could hear the music wafting out of the Wonder Bar and decided to stop in and have a couple of beers.
The Wonder Bar is an iconic Asbury Park favorite that features live music, food, and plenty of alcohol.
The music bill that afternoon was a Wonder Jam with Sandy Mack and friends. Think lots of blues, Allman Brothers Band, and Grateful Dead covers.
Sandy Mack is a singer and harmonicist and a well-known member of the local Jersey Shore music scene.

A nice selection of beverages and a large garage door to let in the outside on nice days and nights.
Sandy was nice enough to pose for a quick capture.
I assumed he was a "regular", as he seemed to know most everybody.
