A Quiet and Deserted Walk in the Snow
Another couple of inches of snow fell this morning in Central New Jersey. It was chilly but barely a breeze could be felt.
With the snow tapering off around lunch time, is was the perfect time for a quiet and peaceful walk in the woods at Holmdel Park.
The woods are extra magical when you have it all to yourself and the freshly fallen snow served to dampen the sound. All I could really hear was the sound of the compacting snow beneath my feet.
I didn't see a single person, dog, squirrel, or bird although, usually, this park is fairly frequented by all of them.
It was quite slippery walking up/down the gently sloping trails, but well worth getting soaking wet shoes for!!!
NOTE: Since recently getting my new Apple iPhone 7 Plus, I've been taking quite a few photos with it to see how it does. Time to get the Sony RX100 V back into regular rotation.

I take snow walks for the same reason. Because it is so quiet and no one is around. I'd love to take a stroll around a snowy park like this.
