I never played Tennis when I was younger but I started learning last year. My friend was teaching me how to play. It was very hard for me to keep the ball on the court. I could only swing the racket at 50% effort otherwise I couldn't control it. A game of skill!
Yes, use your legs and body to move the arm instead of thinking of moving the hand.
That's part of the trick.
