Green for now... then, SURPRISE... one morning it'll all be orange!!!!!
Doesn't the fall seem to come all at once? I went for a walk today to get my mail and strolled around the grounds a bit! Most pictures have green leaves but you see a tiny bit of yellow or orange here and there. Lots of crunchy leaves on the ground that have fallen.
And then one morning, I swear every year, it seems overnight, it's an orange and red world of leaves out there.
I'll be ready to take some pictures when I wake up one morning and see the color!!
For now, here are some pictures of my stroll of fall brewing!
I think these berries pop through for the fall on this bush.
This needle tree will stay green so it's part of every season just the way it is!
Some of the pond's changing now too.
Cattail (I am pretty sure that is what this plant is)
And here are a couple of potted mums! They seem to pop up everywhere! Stores, homes, in and out!
One orange and one yellow in front of the office!
Me back home realizing that I would like to replace the green eucalyptus with some fall color berries perhaps. That will have to be explored another day, another walk!
Yes, cattails. Or on the internet, "wild corndogs." ;)
