CHINA - Chinese drill maker EHang has released a spectacular tape showing a megadrone without a pilot successfully flying passengers around China for the first time.

The drone flew at 130 kilometers per hour. They explain it has tested the EHang 184 megadrone flight to thousands of times with passengers over the last four years. This new show became the first evidence of the drone action. The driver just touched his finger on the touch screen to show his purpose, then the drone flew to the destination automatically. The touch screen is located in front of the passenger seat. The quadcopter has also been tested in various weather conditions, including heat, misty, at night, and typhoon-type winds.

"We have conducted flight tests, both with single-seat versions and double-seat passenger drones," EHang said in a statement quoted by the Daily Mail. The company claims to have demonstrated its service during the World Government Summit in Dubai this month, although there has been no official confirmation.

"The drone has also managed to fly vertically as high as 300 meters and can carry weights up to more than 230 kg," wrote The Verge report. The drone can fly at a distance of more than 15 km and has a top speed of 130 km per hour. The company claims to have tested the drones with 40 different passengers, including Wang Dong, Deputy Mayor of Guangzhou, China, where the tests were conducted.

"The flight test performance with human passengers allows us to demonstrate the safety and stability of the vehicle. What we are doing is not an extreme sport, so the safety of every passenger is always a priority, "said Founder and CEO EHang Huazhi Hu.

Megadrone EHang 184 was named the world's first Autonomous Space Vehicle transporting a mesi man not yet known when the company would commercialize it. The electric vehicle can fly for 23 minutes.

"Now that we have successfully tested EHang 184, I am very happy to see what the future holds for us in terms of air mobility," he said.

The company has also developed and tested a drone version with two seats that can carry loads of up to 280 kg. The vehicle flew up and landed autonomously. Things done passengers just show the purpose of the drone on the map that is on the touch screen.

EHang also has a command center that ensures all goes safe. The command center was like air traffic control at the airport. The command center monitors every EHang 184 unit that airs for 24/7. The company plans to integrate with existing air traffic control operations.

The command center for example can guarantee that EHang 184 does not take off during extreme weather conditions. If an error occurs, one pilot can take over the drone remotely. The company has received permission for the EHang 184 test in Nevada.
