@walkofhope project continues its mission at Dagsa Place Bayawan City, empowering little kids to learn more about arts and music. The workshop has started last week where most of the student are kiddos that lasts for 16 days. And today is their last day of work shop.

The Music and art workshop is just one of the projects of @walkofhope that taught kids basic painting, drawing, sketching using etc. They also learned different kinds of musical instruments made of bamboo and how to play it. @steemph.negros will also continue supporting this project.

Thanks to all who supported this project that helps little kids to explore their hidden talents in arts and music.

The last day of workshop: Painting at the seaside and playing indigenous instruments

These kids are confident about their new developed skills, for 16 days of workshop lets find out what they learned.

From day one to day 16, the activity was monitored by @steemph.negros writers that includes (@jezmacher and @bobiecayao ) for the documentation. What they learned from the workshop was a great knowledge that will help them understand and realized the value of art and music using indigenous instruments. They value the friendship towards their classmates and to their instructor.

These kids are very lucky to be part of @walkofhope project, 16 days of workshop for free is indeed a truly worth it for them to learn new things related to art and music, plus having a good instructor (Marlon Ponsoy).

Feel the fresh air, feel the freedom of expressing their thoughts through painting

Their last session was held outside the Dagsa place, where their subject is beautiful view a boat and the sea view.

Look at their faces, they are very serious with their activity. This was the last day of the workshop and these kids will be showing their best painting outputs. From the previous days of learning, they are good enough to showcase what they got in painting.

Take a break and play, it is part of the activity to motivate them.

Part of the motivation is to give them space to relax and to play with their peers so they will not get bored for the entire duration of workshop.

They laugh, they play and enjoy the day. Workshop is not just developing their skills in arts and music it is also developing the relationship towards their peers and classmates. They are playing Zombie run? i guess so. These kids are showing how happy they are, how interested they are and how eager they to develop their self.

High five with their Mentor/Instructor @flabbergast-art ( Marlon Ponsoy)

We gonna miss you little kiddos, you are free to visit Dagsa Place even if you are done with the workshop, this what your teacher told you.

Since the workshop is over, these kiddos are still free to visit the Dagsa Place whenever they want. They can still meet and greet their mentor and they can even join or set in if there are classes or workshop on going. @steemph.negros leaders are very happy to see kids learning a lot of things from the workshop, kudos! little one for being active in learning arts and music together with the @walkofhop staff.

@steemph and @steemph.negros would like to thank the sponsors of @walkofhope project, members and leaders of @steemph.negros will continue its commitment to help @walkofhope project especially in Bayawan.

Thanks for all the support kuya...it's not over yet😊😊

Congrats for a successful workshop! I wonder how their final work looked like. Maybe you can auction those off and give some to the kids and use the proceeds for future projects? The look on their faces is priceless!
