My entry for the wafricamusic competition

Good day steem people.
I am Iwinosa Winifred Aideyan from the ancient city of Benin,Edo state Nigeria.

I am participating in the #wafricamusic content which is to see a song with you native language.
Brief history about the Benin kingdom
The Benin Empire is found in the south east of lagos and badagry and has borders to Delta state, Kogi state. The history can be traced back to about 1400 years ago.

This is my entry
My reason for choosimg this song is because it is a thankgiving praise song to God telling him how good HE has been to my family and i.
The song is a very popular song here in Benin city.
The english translation is

I chose this attire to showcase the rich nature of the Bini woman, we are know for tying red wrapper with beads on our heads. And let's not forget the natural look (no makeup),or any form of footwear either. Well here's my entry for the competition.
