I lost in the screams of delight,
My country's men lost in the light,
A serious touch on my heart.
It rains no more,
There be no hope again,
As the sky is already blue.
The Eagles have been a victim,
Going gently out of Russia,
With pains, tension and tears
Alas!
No clothes to wave like tattered flags,
It's a back of sorrow to be left uncelebrated.
My flower bend for Musa,
I touch the Eagles shoulder,
Cry not, try harder.
But if there be life,
Naija shall go again,
Prove the giant and take home the cup.
No matter what, Nigeria remains my fatherland.
