Poverty is the inadequate or lack of basic materials possession or money which will make life easier. Some causes of poverty are, changing trends in a country's economy, lack of education, high divorce rate which causes feminization of poverty, having a culture of poverty, overpopulation, epidemic diseases such as AIDS and malaria, and environmental problems such as lack of rainfall and others.

A prison, also known as a correctional facility, jail, gaol, penitentiary, detention center or remand center is a facility in which inmates are forcibly confined and denied a variety of freedoms under the authority of the state.
Prison is where the convicted are kept.

The youth of our great nation who ought to lift the flag of our dear nation were being convicted and they live in our prison due to poverty. How does this happen? When there are too many people living in absolute poverty they tends to commit atrocities, people who cannot afford a meal per day must eat to survive and when there is no means of surviving they have to look for possible means which might be through stealing from people and cooperate organizations and if these set of people were caught they will be convicted and jailed.
Some of the glory of our great country, our continent and the world at large have been lost through poverty and being imprisoned.

It's high time we started the campaign against poverty and imprisonment of young people with little crime while the big thieves were walking around in the street without trace. The economy of our nation's only favours the rich, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Just very few can afford three good meals in a day, While several millions can't afford a meal per day.

To those who have more than enough, please assist others. I never relent in my effort to assist the less privileges and the needy despite the fact that I never have as well, I still give in the little.
