Check out these 5 Mind Blowing Mysteries of the World.😱

The world is full of mysteries and am here with a well researched list of 5 interesting mysteries of the world that will completely blow your mind. And till today, with all our technology, science still have no solid conclusive explanations behind any of these.

5. The Antikythera Mechanism.

The Antikythera mechanism is currently housed in the Greek national archeology museum in Athens and its still one of the most complicated antiques in existence. At the Beginning of the 20th century, divers of the island of Antikythera came across this clock-like mechanism that was just laying inside a ship wreckage retrieved from a wreck off the coast. This device was very thin and made of Bronze. It was also mounted in a wooden frame and not more than 2 thousands characters inscribed all over it. Though nearly 95% of these inscriptions have been descripted by experts but there has been no publication on the full texts of the inscriptions. But today, it is believed that the instrument was a kind of mechanical analogue computer used to calculate the movement of stars and planets in the astronomy which sounds nothing compared to now modern technology, but don't forget, this was built around 87BC. It is incredible to think how it was made thousand years ago. No one has any idea about how it came to be on that cargo ship. The ship was roman though and they think the Antikythera mechanism was developed in Greece. One theory suggest that the reason it came to be on the roman ship could because the instrument was among the spoils of the war looted by the Roman Empire Julius Caesar.

4. The Great Pyramids of Giza.

Easily, one of the famous landmarks in our world is the great pyramids of Giza. Thousands of people visit each year to see this magnificent pyramids constructed from stones at the ancient side of Giza in Egypt. Despite years of analysis, no one actually knows how they were constructed but it is believed they were built over 5 thousand years ago. They were built using over 2.3 million blocks of stones and granites, each weighing over one ton and some weighing as much as 40 tons. What baffles people is how they were moved from their place of origin as far as 600 miles away in Aswan and transported to Giza. Wheels haven't been invented then so the possibility of a cart transporting them to site can be ruled out. The largest of the three pyramids is known as the great pyramid. Its truly an astonishing work of engineering and that's what most people go to see. It is believed to have been built over 20 years period. Some believe it was built by slaves but seems to have been disproved. What researchers believe is that the Egyptians somehow got the stones possibly off the shaft unto a platform on the sand. A worker would then wet the sand in front of the Shaft and other workers would then pull the platform which will then slide on the wet sand. There are other fact which completely confused researchers about the pyramids such as the fact they are located on the exact center of the mass of the earth. Mathematical numbers such as the pi-formular was also used in constructing the pyramids which haven't been discovered until years after. The three pyramids in Giza form a Pythagoras triangle who's sides have the proportions of 3-4-5. The pyramids are also giant sundowns and calendar.

3. The Stone Henge.

Stone Henge is a prehistoric monument located in Salisbury, England. Similar to the pyramids, they are believe to have been constructed around 3000BC to 2000BC. Although there is lots of ancient monuments surrounding the areas, the main mystery is the stone. Its the same scenario just as the pyramids, they don't know how those enormous stones got on top of the standing stones. The entire structure is put together like wood work. Joint and sockets have been carved into the stone so each stone fits into each other precisely. The horizontal stones have been engineered so they were flat on the slipping site. How did they get the 4 ton stones on top of the horizontal stones? There is also no evidence of how they transported the stone to the site of the stone henge. The stones are called the blue stones and only existed one place which is Whales about 200,000 miles away. People think the stones used were transported by water to the site and then dropped off at the Stonehenge but this would have taken an enormous amount of manpower. If you stand next to these stones, you will begin to understand what task it would be, even with today's technology let alone thousands of years ago.

2. The case of Benjamin Kyle.

This is an unusual one and deserves to be mentioned. In 2004, an approximately 86 years man was found naked outside next to a dumpster behind a fast food restaurant in Georgia, America. He wasn't dead, he was unconscious and later became conscious in a memorial hospital. When he did, he couldn't remember how he ended up lying beside the bin. That was the least of his problems because he was diagnosed with amnesia basically meaning he couldn't remember anything, not even his name. The hospital staff registered his name as BK on his hospital form as the initial of the place he was found (Burger King). It was later adopted as Benjamin Kyle. He had a feeling his date of birth was the 29th of August 1948 and he instinctively believe he may have had a brother but no other family instinct. All investigations by the police and the FBI has turned at Nothing. His finger print weren't in any database, his face isn't in any missing persons file and he doesn't even have a social security number. He is basically a blank slate. In a TV interview, he said, "I don't exist, no one is looking for me". There are however two people who believe they met him working at Waffle house in Georgia. This makes sense to Benjamin which found that he instinctively knew how to operate the machinery in his new kitchen job. But what are the odds of getting amnesia, being naked, found unconscious, having no social security number and have no one looking for you or even recognizing you despite media attention?? All that doesn't just add up.

1. The outer body experience.

Outer body experiences are personal experiences during which people feel they are perceiving the physical world from a location outside of their physical bodies. Sounds crazy, doesn't it? But 10 in over 100 people have an outer body experience at least once in their lives and still continues to blow scientists minds. There are lots of stories about people who have gotten released from their bodies and are able to look at themselves from the outside and it seems that happens when they undergo near death experiences. They are said to feel no pain or emotions and what's even crazier is that after their experiences, they are able to describe what they have seen from their outside perception which they wouldn't have known from their body. There are stories from people who have been pronounced dead in emergency rooms and have said that during their outside body experiences they are aware of conversations going on in separate rooms whist they are being worked on by a doctor. But how can this be possible? How can you even see yourself from a different angle while still being in your body and record in your memory what going on from that perspective? One of the explanations offered is that the person went into a traumatic state of consciousness and not actually travelling outside of their body but are imaging it, the same way a person experiences a dream but a much more real impression than normal. The brain is highly complicated and can deduce all sorts of images that can seem real. But how do you explain people seeing things and hearing a things from different rooms or places they wouldn't be able to do with their real bodies. Some say we are living in a multidimensional world and only during an outer body experience can we activate our other dimensional senses but this is just a theory of course and until this day, there is not conclusion as to what's going on.

So this is it, thanks for reading and I hope you really enjoyed doing so. I know the post is long probably because I tried to be as detailed as possible in my research but I know its worth it.

See you at the tables !

Number 2 Benjamin Kyle... I suspect aliens are involved.
But number 5 is no mystery... Clearly one of the X-men dropped it while time traveling! 😂

I loved reading this, unsolved mysteries and mysterious things are always fascinating. I hope you make more similar posts. I always had a fascination with the Bermuda Triangle as a kid. Even now, I find it intriguing.

Number 1 is my favorite. These clever ancient people knew so many things. We are still learning many things from them. I can only imagine the progress if barbarians didn't interfere with their societies.

Lol yeah. But i think i prefer 2. Its as if the man was given a second chance in life.

Lol just to clarify by number 1 I mean number 5 or the first one. The mechanism found neer ancient Greek islands. Lists that are backwards confuse me. Apologies for misunderstanding. Very intersting list indeed.
