The Consequences of Fear

in #wafrica6 years ago

Good morning, my fellow Steemians, do you still remember my post yesterday where I wrote about fear? Do you remember how I promised to complete the post at a later time? Well, now is the servant time?
You and I must understand that we cannot possibly life with fear without consequences, that is what this post would be centered around today. It's "The Consequences of Fear"
summary of this post
#1. Understand how fear may cause the death of a person.
#2. Understand how fear affect people's health.
#3. Understand why fear is torment or why the fearful is tormented, etc.

Emphatically, the Bible says: FEAR HATH TORMENT. Sincerely, I do believe that is one of the worst consequences of fear: it torments! The passage of scripture that says, fear hath torment means that fear, in itself, is a tormentor!

Here are some of the Consequences of fear:

Fear can cause serious health issues:
It is quite obvious that most people who live in fear end up with high blood pressure. In fact, if you are too conscious of fear in your life, you might want to consider going for test on High Blood Pressure (it's that serious)!
Don't let fear destroy your health, and life.

Fear can cause depression:
Depression is suffered by people, knowingly or unknowingly. What is depression?

(psychology) In psychotherapyand psychiatry, a state of mind producing serious, long-term lowering of enjoyment of life or inability to visualize a happy future.

One thing about depressed people is that, they don't enjoy life. Nothing turns them on. They are "rigid" towards life as a whole.

Fear can cause death:
This should not sound strange as must people suffering from depression are the ones who end up committing suicide the most. You may ask why? Well, it's because they get so tire of life, because the excitement in life is missing in theirs.
Do you know what this implies? If you want to avoid depression, avoid fear (I will talk a little about this if time permits)

Fear is a tormentor:
Have you ever been very afraid of something? How did you feel about it all? I guess the word, "tormented" is the best word. That's why the Bible said: fear hath torment
It truly does! In fact, one could say, "fear is torment, itself"

Ageing quickly: fear can make one look older than he really is? Why? Because it feels you to worry and worry is simply mental stress which leads to fast ageing.
Have you ever seen a 25 year old going bald? Sure! Why? Well, he or she is ageing rather quickly which might be because of stress which could be connected to one form of fear of the other.

I think the consequences of fear is too enormous to be dealt with in a single post, this might be continued, or add other consequences of fear you know of. Briefly, share them.

On a Final Note
Am sure you understand that fear has grave consequences, ranging from destroying your health to tormenting your life and many others.
