INSECURITY AND INJUSTICE
The global village has been in existence for a very long time, as a lot of development has swept the world over and in most times pave way for the rebirth of a new thesis. Well, history makes us to understand that the world itself is on a constant move which pave way for different ideologies to surface and govern the state for a while before the revolution of anti-thesis that will eventually lead to the development of another thesis. But, as the world grow in expense of land mass covered by people, eventually it leads to the century problems that follows the path of the modern world.

Insecurity and injustice are two wide concept which also can be regarded as an “essentially contested concept”. This concept can be define in many ways and it has different definitions provided by different scholars, but every definition provided by different scholars are there to make the two concept better, clear and understandable. Insecurity maybe define as a state of chaos, crisis and backwardness. It maybe be refer simply as the state of not been safe. While injustice on the other hand is as a result of weak judicial system.
As the world grow in size, it become less safe for people to live in, even at the expense of technological advances yet the insecurity rate in the world has not be total curbed. Well, the issue of insecurity and weak judicial system is a herculean task that cannot be single handily handle by an individual nor a group of people. Though different agencies that are being establish by government of different countries of the world to look in depth to the causes of these social problems and the necessary solutions that can be provided to eradicate such contemporary issues. But to measure the contribution and direct roles played by these established government agencies, we find out that their contribution towards solving this contemporary issue is very low and not progressive enough. Taking Nigeria as a case study, the alarming increase in crime rate of the country has in one way or another effected the progressive productivity of the country, thereby leaving the country in a state of partial unrest. Insecurity and injustice can be grouped into two wide part which is full insecurity and partial insecurity and also we have partial injustice and full injustice.
The issue of insecurity have been prevailing in the third world countries, which comprises of African countries and other countries in Asia. Well we can’t also fail to mention the direct impact of insecurity in the Middle East which has not only left the state in a state of emergency, but also put them on the list of top world, most less secure countries to live in. Insecurity is not about war alone, it comprises of different other social vices like armed robbery, kidnapping, modern slavery which is still been practices in the modern day Libya. The herdsmen crisis that has also been in the mind of every adult Nigeria is also an example of insecurity in the state with has being developing a kind of hostility between other tribes in Nigeria against the Fulani. The issue of insecurity cannot be eradicated without the support of a strong judicial system that have not be nothing but a compromise., which has led the people to take law in their hands than relay on the law which is suppose to provide certainty in the absence of none.IMG_20180427_234948.jpg
Like Daniel Webster said “Every unpunished murder takes away something from the security of every man’s life.” When those who do evil still roam the street with those who have the courage not to do evil then we are not totally living in equality. The citizens is the government primary assignment is to protect and to care for. The issue of insecurity has been still the creation of man because humans are rational. Conclusively, the issue of insecurity has shortening the life of millions of people throughout the world and it is still going to shortening the life of millions more if the issue is not properly addressed.
