The truth is bitter but it has to be told. My post today will be about truth that we know but choose to ignore.

Nobody on earth can love you more than your parents.
See all those line guys drop on a girl like "I love you more than my mother" shouldn't be said at all. Even if you feel your parents do not love you because they do not want you to settle down with the person you love doesn't give you the right to choose someone else's love over your parents. Remember what an old man sees while sitting down, a child will never see it even if they climb a ladder.

Rich people have more friends than poor people.
You know that song that goes "When money dey friend go dey, when money no dey friend go go" its in pidgin for those of us who doesn't understand pidgin, it means when you're rich, friends will always come around. But when you're poor and broke, your friends will forget you. This is one truth everyone knows but pretend not to.

People love beautiful face instead of beautiful heart.
Most people wants a partner who loves has a beautiful face and cares less about how beautiful their heart is. They want yo be hailed by their friends when their partner comes around and neglect someone who has more that just a beautiful heart.

Everyone respects money and not people.
When you have money, the world will put you high but if you're broke and not financially okay, people will give a damn about you.

The people who love you will always be the ones to hurt you.
When you're too attached to someone, whatever wrong they commit towards you will hurt more than from someone you barely know or love so much.
